Honeywell Transportation Systems’ new line of remanufactured turbochargers are designed for the independent aftermarket in Europe . “Garrett Original Reman” turbochargers have been restored, recalibrated, and rebalanced, featuring seamless integration with vehicle engines. As the original turbocharger designer, Honeywell offers the technical knowledge and manufacturing experience to deliver Garrett units that match the engine management system requirements through its original assembly, calibration, and testing processes. According to the company, each Garrett Original Reman turbo is reassembled to the same specifications as original new parts and inspected against original production drawings. As a starting point, the units receive several new original components, such as actuators, compressor wheels, bearing systems, seals, O-rings, piston ring seals, bolts, and clamps.
